The Proceedings Contradict Article 18 of the Convention and Article 80 of the RA Constitution: Amram Makinyan

Before the announcement of the decision, Amram Makinyan, one of the lawyers for "Tashir Capital," emphasized the need to assess how the process initiated by the Regulatory Commission against "Tashir Capital" complies with the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and international obligations.

“Every individual and legal entity has the right to enjoy property unimpeded; no one can deprive them of it, except in the interest of the public and under conditions specified by law and derived from the general principles of international law. In light of Article 18 of the European Convention on Human Rights, we conclude that for a restriction to be lawful, it must pursue only this purpose. Your proceedings contradict Article 18 of the Convention and Article 80 of the RA Constitution,” said Makinyan.
