We Have Broken the Millennium Curse Tied to Armenia: Pashinyan

Now I am a patriot with a model of nationalism commissioned by the nurturing mothers of Armenia, announced Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his speech at the 7th Congress of the ‘Civil Contract’ party.

“In 2019, I was a patriot with the only model of nationalism available in Armenia at that time. But who commissioned that model of nationalism? How was it formed? That model was the nationalism model commissioned by the leaders of the Soviet Empire, Stalin, Khrushchev, and Brezhnev. Until the real ideology of Armenia, the model of nationalism that existed in Armenia largely relied on books and songs formed in the 1940s to the 1980s,” he said.

Pashinyan noted that there has never been construction on this scale in Armenia, yet they are accused of destruction. “Why? Because we have broken the millennium curse tied to Armenia, which did not allow us to have a truly independent, truly sovereign state: we have broken that curse,” he stated.
