If Nikol Pashinyan Decides to Hold a Gathering Anywhere in Armenia, There’s No One Who Cannot Authorize It: Mekhakyan

The candidate of the "Civil Contract" party, Arghishti Mekhakyan, has stated that he will not respond to questions regarding the Catholicos of All Armenians, noting that the topic has been discussed many times.

"I neither avoid mentioning Ktrich Nersisyan nor do I avoid mentioning Garegin II. I do not want to get into a line of questioning that leads us nowhere. At this moment, I am focused on my own responsibilities," he remarked.

When asked whether he would authorize a spiritual gathering initiated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan as a community leader, Mekhakyan responded: "If Nikol Pashinyan decides to hold a gathering anywhere in the Republic of Armenia, there’s no one who cannot authorize it," Mekhakyan said.
