Established Peace Beneficiaries Include Not Just Armenia and Azerbaijan, But Also Georgia - Mirzoyan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, has been received by the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The interlocutors discussed issues on the agenda of bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Georgia. It was emphasized on both sides that Armenia and Georgia are united by traditional friendship and commonalities between their peoples, mutual respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of both states, as well as stable economic ties.
Addressing regional issues, Minister Mirzoyan stated, “The beneficiaries of established peace are not just Armenia and Azerbaijan, but also Georgia and the entire region. The connectivity with a broader geography will benefit from this.” He added that the organic continuation of this would be the development of cooperation in the South Caucasus, including in a trilateral format. The President of Georgia expressed support for this vision.
The Armenian Foreign Minister and the President of Georgia exchanged ideas on the implementation of new initiatives on the path of developing cooperation between the two countries and effective interaction in overcoming challenges in contemporary conditions.
