The longest shutdown in U.S. history has officially come to an end as Trump has finally signed the temporary budget approved by Congress. The formal ceremony took place at the White House.
The U.S. government has been shut down since October 1, with thousands of employees furloughed without pay. It is expected that they will return to work starting today.
