Madrid's Real Madrid has unveiled the new name and logo for its home stadium, the Santiago Bernabéu. The stadium will now simply be called 'Bernabéu'. This was reported by Diario AS.

The logo depicts the stadium, consisting of four parallel stripes intersected by a vertical one. The change in the stadium's name is due to corporate and marketing considerations.

It should be noted that after 12 rounds of the current La Liga season, Real Madrid leads the standings with 31 points, three points ahead of second-placed Barcelona.
