Milena Khachatryan Surpasses 2 Turkish Competitors and Becomes European Champion

The European Championship for M20 and M23 weightlifting continues in Durrës, Albania. It is worth mentioning that Armenia is represented by 23 athletes at this event.

In the 76 kg weight category, Armenia's Milena Khachatryan had no equal, recording a total lift of 219 kg and being crowned European champion among the M20 age group.

This marks Armenia's 4th medal at the youth European Championships. Previously, Gor Sahakyan also became a European champion. Mikhail Abrahamyan and Rafik Minasyan secured bronze medals at the competition.
