Police Warning on Ticket Scalping for Armenia-Portugal Football Match
Tickets for the Armenia-Portugal football match taking place on September 6 are reportedly being resold at significantly inflated prices. Scalpers may sell a single ticket to multiple people, and entry to the stadium will only be granted to the individual who activates the QR code first. This was announced by the police.
“Online and on social media, you may also encounter users and websites selling fake QR codes. Dear citizens, to avoid falling victim to possible fraud, we want to emphasize that according to the Football Federation of Armenia, the QR codes for the Armenia-Portugal match will only be activated on the day of the event, September 6, at 09:00. Therefore, any QR code shown or sold before that time is fake,” the statement reads.
