Criminal Proceedings Initiated Against Ono Harutyunyan for Hooliganism

The blogger and supporter of the "Mother Armenia" movement, Ono Harutyunyan, who was arrested in the Vagharchapat community, is facing criminal proceedings. This was reported to Auroranews.am by the Investigative Committee.

"A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident under the third part of Article 297 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism committed using information or communication technologies)," stated representatives from the Investigative Committee, adding that one person has been arrested and the investigation is ongoing.

It is noteworthy that members of the "Mother Armenia" movement announced today that Ono Harutyunyan was abducted by unknown individuals in Vagharchapat. The police also confirmed that he was arrested on suspicion of hooliganism.
