Azerbaijan has not only been hostile but continues to be so: Arthur Khachatryan

«Azerbaijan has not only been hostile but continues to be so, because a friendly country would not keep occupying troops on a neighbor's territory and would not occupy land,» said Arthur Khachatryan, a member of the 'Armenia' parliamentary faction, during his speech.

Quoting a recent conclusion published by the Commission for the Fight Against Racism and Intolerance, Khachatryan emphasized that Armenia has not fulfilled its obligations and is not sufficiently combating the discrimination against the people of Artsakh and ensuring their integration into Armenian society.

«You are not demanding the right to return, you are not solving social issues, you are not helping those people to integrate into Armenian society,» Khachatryan added.

Concluding his remarks, Khachatryan noted that while Armenia does not demand the return of the people of Artsakh, Azerbaijan continues to demand and speak with representatives of the 'Western Azerbaijan' community.
