Iran Claims Israeli Threats and Capability to Attack Nuclear Sites Are False

The head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, stated that Iran will return to all obligations under the nuclear agreement once sanctions are completely lifted, according to IRNA.

He emphasized that Iran will fulfill its commitments under the nuclear agreement only after Western powers fully meet their part of the agreement, which includes the complete removal of sanctions.

In response to questions regarding Israeli threats, he remarked, “Iran's nuclear program cannot be halted by attacks on nuclear sites or through sanctions. Striking our nuclear facilities would be futile, and they will face a decisive and devastating response.”

He highlighted that Israeli threats and the claimed capability to attack Iran's nuclear sites are empty and false.

Eslami assured that this year will mark the end of “political noise” surrounding Iran's nuclear program. He continued that negotiations between Iran and the IAEA are ongoing, and the issue concerning particles of highly enriched uranium was recently resolved. Eslami underscored that the installation of IAEA surveillance cameras largely depends on the commitments of the other parties to the nuclear agreement.
