What Corridor? Azerbaijanis Have No Right to Expect a Corridor – Nikol Pashinyan

As already reported, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has given an interview to the Italian newspaper La Repubblica.

The journalist's question was: "Is the issue of the 'Zangezur Corridor' part of the peace negotiations?" The response was: "Look, you are speaking of a corridor; which corridor are you talking about? They have no right to expect a corridor. If we are talking about the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020, there is only one corridor mentioned there – that is the Lachin corridor. This indicates Azerbaijan's aggressiveness and illegitimacy."

Pashinyan addressed the journalist, stating that Azerbaijanis have already achieved what they wanted, and even the journalist is mentioning a corridor. "Has anyone among you asked Azerbaijan what corridor they are talking about?"

When I mention the Lachin corridor, I can show a document with both my signature and that of the Azerbaijani president, which you can easily find. There is no other document in the world or in history that suggests a corridor should operate through the territory of Armenia based on the logic proposed by Azerbaijan," the Prime Minister added.
