Turkey-Azerbaijan-Armenia Meeting Only with Baku's Consent
Turkey is ready to organize a meeting of the transport ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, provided Baku gives its consent. This was stated by Turkey's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, who noted that the implementation of this initiative is entirely dependent on Azerbaijan's position.
The minister mentioned that he has regular contacts with Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, as well as several meetings with Armenia's transport minister. "If Baku agrees, we are fully prepared for such a meeting format, as Azerbaijan's position is a priority for us," he said.
According to Uraloglu, preparatory work for the opening of the "Zangezur Corridor" is proceeding at a high level. Coordinated efforts have been made between Turkey and Azerbaijan, and all necessary steps have already been planned in advance following the completion of the peace process. The minister also recalled that the cooperation between the two countries in the infrastructure sector has a long history, so new projects can begin without additional preparations.
