These People Have No Connection to the Public: Sona Ghazaryan on the Narek-Tucker Interview

Member of the Civil Contract faction, Sona Ghazaryan, has commented on the interview of Narek Karapetyan, the nephew of Samvel Karapetyan, with American journalist Tucker Carlson on her social media page. She shared an excerpt and wrote: 'This is an excerpt that the formalists are spreading as a trailer for the interview, probably as a 'successful piece,' where the nephew recounts that he was also arrested. Do you know what I remembered when Levon Kocharian, after probably 4-5 forced resignations from mandates, heroically reached the parliament and directed his first or second question to the minister or prime minister—not about security, not about the forcibly displaced from Artsakh, not about poverty or benefits, but about himself, supposedly about being beaten. Now this guy has gone to New York to give an interview to tell that he was arrested. These people have no connection to the public, they have no interaction, they do not feel the people, they do not see the people as subjects; they are self-centered egoists. Although, what am I telling you, you all have seen their mansions; there is undoubtedly a visibility problem from there.'

It is noteworthy that Narek Karapetyan, the coordinator of the 'In Our Way' movement, gave an interview to American journalist Tucker Carlson, during which he spoke about the Armenian Genocide, the arrest of clergymen in Armenia, the detention of Samvel Karapetyan, and several other issues.
