Hamas Must Immediately Begin Complete Demilitarization, Trump Says

Hamas must immediately begin complete demilitarization. This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump.

“As Steve Witkoff announced, we have officially moved on to the next phase of the 20-point peace plan for Gaza,” he said. “Since the ceasefire, my team has helped secure RECORD levels of humanitarian aid to Gaza, delivering it to the civilian population at an HISTORIC pace and unprecedented scale. Even the United Nations has recognized this achievement as UNPRECEDENTED. These results have paved the way for the next phase.”

As the President of the Peace Council, I support the newly appointed Palestinian technocratic government, the Gaza National Management Committee, which is bolstered by the Council’s high representative to govern during the transition period in Gaza. These Palestinian leaders are steadfastly committed to a PEACEFUL future.

With the support of Egypt, Turkey, and Qatar, we will secure a COMPREHENSIVE demilitarization agreement with Hamas that includes the surrender of ALL weapons and the DEMOLITION of EVERY tunnel. Hamas must IMMEDIATELY fulfill its obligations, including the return of every victim to Israel, and start complete demilitarization without delay. As I have said, they can do so in a good or bad way. The people of Gaza have suffered long enough. The time is NOW.
