Truth Gets Sick but Does Not Die: Statement from the Prosperous Armenia Party

The Prosperous Armenia Party has issued a statement regarding the adoption of Resolution 296 by the U.S. House of Representatives.

“The Prosperous Armenia Party welcomes the adoption of Resolution 296 by the U.S. House of Representatives. We are confident that this important and powerful step towards restoring historical justice by one of the chambers of the U.S. legislature will give new momentum to the international recognition process of the genocide and will play a crucial preventive role in ensuring that new genocides and atrocities do not occur in the world. Truth gets sick but does not die, and the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide is unavoidable,” the statement reads.

The Prosperous Armenia Party consistently advocates for the continuation of the trajectory of international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide. We express our deepest gratitude to the members of the U.S. House of Representatives who, with their vote, not only made an important contribution to the international recognition process of genocide but also paid their respects to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.”
