The November 9 Agreement Changed the Rules of the Game in the Region: Abrahamyan

Member of Parliament and Secretary of the "Honorable" faction Tigran Abrahamyan writes: "The trilateral agreement of November 9 solidified the existing situation, which was followed by a competition to determine who would utilize it and how. Along with Armenia and Azerbaijan, regional and geopolitical forces participated in the process.

It is noted that the Armenian government suffered defeat not only in the 44-day war but also in the following period, which resulted in heavy consequences, including the incursions into the sovereign territory of Armenia from 2021 to 2023, as well as several hundred casualties, injuries, and abducted individuals.

According to assessments, this situation brought Armenia to the brink of the abyss, where various forces attempted to exploit the circumstances. Azerbaijan portrayed its actions as a "favor," all occurring at Armenia's expense.

It has been noted that the main idea of the current government is the "Dependent Armenia" model, in which Armenia has a formal role in decision-making, even on issues concerning itself," wrote the MP.
