The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, has announced that the economy of 21st century Hungary will be based on the development of space, defense, and high-tech industries. He made this statement on his X (formerly Twitter) platform, summarizing his recent visit to the United States.

“The global economy is on the brink of a technological transformation. Together with our American partners, we are preparing Hungary for this new era by building a modern economy based on space, defense, and high-tech industries. Together we will walk towards the future,” Orban stated.

It is noteworthy that on November 7, Viktor Orban met with U.S. President Donald Trump. They discussed issues related to the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict and the development of bilateral economic relations, including potential cooperation in the energy sector.
