Erdogan Highlights Turkey's Support for Baku and Regional Peace Trends
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has pointed out that the progress being recorded in Artsakh is the result of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's leadership. The Turkish leader made these remarks while returning from Azerbaijan, answering journalists' questions on the plane.
According to Erdogan, Azerbaijan's victory in Artsakh was a significant achievement not only for the country but for the entire Turkic world. He reminded that Turkey has supported Baku from the very beginning.
“We said, Turkey stands by Azerbaijan until the end, and we kept our word,” said Erdogan.
He also noted that after the end of military operations, there are observable trends of peace and development in the region. According to Erdogan, the process of normalizing relations with Armenia is being conducted simultaneously with Baku.
“After the victory, the winds of peace are blowing, and Turkey is pleased about it,” the Turkish president added.
Erdogan expressed satisfaction with the ongoing restoration and reform processes in Artsakh, emphasizing their significance for the stability of the region.
