Tikinizyan Makes a Statement

The defender of the Armenian national team and the 'Crvena Zvezda' club, Nair Tikinizyan, has stated that the Russian league is significantly stronger than the Serbian league.

"I will be honest; the Serbian league is weaker than the Russian league. The level of football in Russia is two heads above, and I was fully aware of that when I came here. However, there is one thing in Serbia that unfortunately is absent in Russia — European Cup matches. For example, today you play against 'Subotica', and three days later, you face 'Lille'. This requires a completely different pace and mindset. Therefore, even in the domestic league, you must approach each game with the same responsibility, regardless of the opponent.

We do not focus on the rival; our goal is to maintain the competitive dynamic of the game and act as if we were up against teams in the Europa League or the Champions League,” said Tikinizyan in an interview with the 'Comment.Show' channel.
