Footballer in Coma Reacts to Family Appeals

The press service of Shirak Football Club has provided an update on the health condition of player Leo Ghazaryan.

“On September 5, after suffering severe injuries in a car accident, Shirak FC player and hero of the 44-day war, Lernik Ghazaryan, fell into a coma. For several days, specialists at Erebuni Medical Center have been fighting for our Leo's life and recovery with God's support. Last night, a real miracle occurred; Lernik showed positive dynamics and, in response to the appeals from family and friends, has demonstrated a reaction.

“Leo, all our prayers and thoughts are with you. You overcame death on the battlefield and returned to big football like a true hero; now it is time to overcome this trial as well. We are waiting for you, brother,” the club's statement reads.
