Whoever Enters the Forbidden Area Will Suffer: Israel Katz Declares a Military Zone Near the Egyptian Border

The Israeli Minister of Defense has instructed the army to declare the area adjacent to the Egyptian border a closed military zone and to modify the rules of engagement to combat threats posed by drones to state security.

Katz noted that the smuggling of weapons via unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is part of the Gaza conflict and is aimed at arming Israel's enemies, making it essential to take all preventive measures.

“Anyone who enters the forbidden area will suffer,” emphasized the Israeli Minister of Defense.
