Vardan Ghukasyan Transferred Again to Correctional Facility

The Mayor of Gyumri, Vardan Ghukasyan, has been transferred back to a correctional facility after receiving treatment at a medical center. This information was confirmed to NEWS.am by his lawyer, Zarouhi Postanjyan.

According to Postanjyan, Ghukasyan's health condition worsened sharply yesterday, prompting his transfer to a hospital. The incident occurred around 4:00 PM while the mayor was situated in the Yerevan 'Kentron' correctional facility.

Following medical assistance, doctors determined that Ghukasyan's condition was stable, leading to his return to custody. It is noted that the defense team is closely monitoring his ongoing health situation.
