Lukas Celarayans No Longer to Play for National Team, Says Yeghishe Melikyan

Armenian national football team forward Lukas Celarayan will no longer play for the national team, announced Armenia's head coach Yeghishe Melikyan.

“I am very grateful to Lukas Celarayan for everything he has done for the national team. We have a very good relationship. I knew that before joining the national team, he wanted to end his career with the national team. I personally spoke to him and explained that this was a difficult time for the team. He accepted that and joined the team for the previous matches. After the game against Ireland, Celarayan said he no longer wishes to continue playing for the national team,” said Melikyan.

Lukas Celarayan joined the Armenian national team in 2021 and has played 26 matches with the national squad.
