A Young Man Taken Into Custody by Police from the Fire Scene

Currently, the fire that broke out in the building of "Yerevan City" located at 60/2 Komitas Street has not yet been extinguished. It is important to note that this section of the building houses public catering points and other shops. People have been evacuated from the burning structure.

Police recently took a young man into custody from the area of the burning building. In this regard, the Ministry of Emergency Situations issued a statement, which said, "On November 6, at 11:08 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received a call that a fire had broken out in one of the food points on Komitas Avenue in Yerevan. Four fire and rescue teams from the Fire and Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and one ladder truck were dispatched to the scene with a fire complexity level of '1 BIS'."
