Ukraine Requests India to Become Its Security Guarantor
Ukraine has requested India to become one of its security guarantors, according to The Hindu, citing diplomatic sources.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that India could join China and Turkey as a security guarantor for Ukraine.
“Ukraine has asked India to become one of the country's security guarantors, along with several other nations. We also expect India to actively participate in post-war reconstruction in Ukraine, including additional humanitarian aid, medicines, and certain technical and financial assistance,” the source said.
Previously, Indian authorities and private companies have sent more than 230 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
