Tehran has Only 2 Weeks of Water Left

Tehran has reported a critical shortage of water. According to France24, the Amir Kabir reservoir, one of the main sources of drinking water for the Iranian capital, is filled to only 8% capacity.

Authorities state that due to prolonged drought, the water in the reservoir will only last for two weeks. Experts note that the current crisis is the worst recorded in decades.

The Iranian government is discussing emergency measures for resource redistribution and is urging the population to conserve water.
