Ronaldo Admits His Career Might End Soon

Five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he may soon end his football career. The Portuguese forward expressed that he is aware the moment is near and is trying to prepare himself mentally for it.

“Soon. I think I will be ready for that moment. It will be difficult; I might cry, but that’s normal. I am an open person and I am not ashamed of my feelings,” said Ronaldo.

Speaking about the future, he emphasized that he cannot envision anything that could replace football. “I think I will be able to handle that pressure. But I will have more time for myself, my family, and my children,” he added.

It is noteworthy that the 40-year-old Ronaldo has become a five-time Champions League winner, a European champion, and the all-time top scorer for the Portuguese national team. He has played for Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, and since 2022, he has been playing for Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr.
