We Must Continue with the Same Spirit: Mkhitaryan After Dominant Victory in Milan Derby

Inter midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan addressed reporters following Inter's dominant 5-1 victory in the Milan derby.

“We are very happy, but I am especially joyful. No, it's not because I scored, but because we won and continued our amazing run at the start of this season. Our fans are fantastic, and I want to thank them for their support. We must continue with the same spirit. Let’s see where that takes us,” Mkhitaryan said in a post-match interview with DAZN.

The former Armenian national team midfielder was named the best player of the fourth round match between Inter and Milan by Whoscored, receiving a score of 9.5. He contributed two goals and one assist to the victory. The second highest rating was awarded to Inter and world champion Argentina forward Lautaro Martinez.

Inter triumphed with a score of 5:1 and currently leads the league table with 12 points.
