Expenditures of Anti-Corruption and Investigative Committees Increase
During the preliminary discussion of the 2026 state budget, Deputy Minister of Finance Vahan Sirunyan presented the proposed allocations for the Anti-Corruption Committee and the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
According to Sirunyan, the draft budget proposes a spending of 3 billion 516 million 898 thousand drams for the Anti-Corruption Committee, which has increased by 53 million 126 thousand drams, or 1.5 percent, compared to the previous year. All expenses are current expenditures.
The expenditure for the Investigative Committee is set at 19 billion 205 million 877 thousand drams under the 2026 state budget proposal. Compared to 2025, the expenses have risen by 219 million 653 thousand drams, or 1.2 percent. Approximately 97.9 percent of the expenditures, or 18 billion 805 million drams, are current, while 400 million drams, or 1.2 percent, are capital expenditures.
