I Am on Vacation, but I Was Told That the New School Will Open on September 1: Shahinyan

The new school being constructed in the village of Kirants in the Tavush Province is set to be operational on September 1. This was reported to "Factinfo" by the village head, Kamo Shahinyan, who noted that he is currently on vacation, but he has been informed that the new school will open on September 1.

It should be mentioned that the new school is located just 50 meters away from the newly drawn border with Azerbaijan, and there have been efforts to shield children's view of enemy movements through a so-called security wall.

The head of the Urban Development Committee, Yeghiazaryan Vardanyan, visited Kirants again today. According to official reports, construction work is at its final stages.

The sentiments among Kirants residents are mixed. Some are currently reluctant to send their children to the newly built school located near the border with Azerbaijan, while others say they will send their children there.
