Previously a public defender, Grayan was appointed as the assistant to the President of the National Assembly starting from June 10, 2024. According to his 2024 annual declaration, we learn that at the beginning of the year, the assistant to the President of the National Assembly had joint ownership of two real estate properties: an apartment, one of which is located in Yerevan's Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, while the other is in Gyumri. The apartments were acquired in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

Previously, Grayan submitted a declaration as a family member of the head of the Shirak regional subdivision of the Human Rights Defender's office, during which he purchased an apartment in Yerevan for 25,563,000 drams, and a year later, he bought an apartment in Gyumri for just 2,000,000 drams. This transaction can be classified as 'suspicious,' as paying 2,000,000 drams for an apartment is a dream for many.

Furthermore, according to the 2024 annual declaration, Grayan acquired a plot of land worth 1,200,000 drams in the Achuik community of the Shirak region. In 2024, he sold a private house located in the Achuik community, about which there was not even a mention in either the beginning of the year or in previously submitted declarations."
