Lawyer Ruben Mkrtchyan Detained for Two Months

Moments ago, the Shirak Regional Court of General Jurisdiction decided to detain lawyer Ruben Mkrtchyan for two months. Ruben is a member of the "Our Way" popular movement and the son of the legendary weightlifting coach, the late Ashot Mkrtchyan. This information was reported by the "Our Way" movement.

It is noteworthy that just two days ago, Ruben Mkrtchyan was detained in Gyumri.

"Ruben Mkrtchyan, a member of the 'Our Way' movement, was detained while trying to calm down the unacceptable situation created at the Gyumri City Hall, as a human rights defender," stated the "Our Way" movement.
