UN Secretary-General Calls for End to Violations of Gaza Ceasefire Agreement

UN Secretary-General António Guterres expressed concern over the ongoing violations of the ceasefire in Gaza and urged for respect for the ceasefire and development of a political solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict.

“I am deeply concerned about the continued violations of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. They must come to an end, and all parties must adhere to the decisions made in the first phase of the peace agreement,” said Guterres during a press conference at the World Summit on Social Development held in Qatar.
