Russia May Transfer 'Oreshnik' Missiles to Venezuela

Russia may transfer medium-range experimental 'Oreshnik' ballistic missiles to Venezuela. This was reported to Gazeta.Ru by Alexey Juravlyov, the first deputy chairman of the Russian State Duma's Defense Committee.

“Russia supplies various types of military equipment to Venezuela, and I do not rule out that Caracas may also receive experimental 'Oreshnik' missiles,” Juravlyov stated. He added that the volumes and types of weapons supplied by Russia are classified. “Therefore, Americans can expect surprises,” the lawmaker emphasized.
