Palestinians Flee to Southern Gaza

Israel is preparing to take full control of the city of Gaza, justifying it by stating that the main bases of Hamas are located there. A senior representative of the Israeli army has stated that the upcoming assault could lead to the displacement of millions of Palestinians, for whom Israel plans to create a new "humanitarian zone." According to the UN, the entire actual population of the Palestinian enclave's capital, Gaza, and its surroundings is about one million.

In recent days, an active movement of Palestinians has been observed from the northern Gaza Strip (where Gaza city is located) to the south. Reports indicate that approximately 70,000 people have already left the northern regions of the Gaza Strip.
