Hezbollah Ready for Long-Term War with Israel, Says Naim Qassem

The Lebanese Hezbollah movement is prepared for a long-term war with Israel, stated Hezbollah's Secretary General Naim Qassem in a video message.

“We are ready for prolonged confrontation, and they are in for an unpleasant surprise on the battlefield. The enemy will see our strength, and their threats do not scare us,” said Qassem.

The leader of the Shiite resistance declared that the conflict could only end with the withdrawal of Israeli forces from all territories in Lebanon, the release of prisoners, and the start of reconstruction.

Qassem noted that resistance fighters are anticipating a ground operation aimed at inflicting further defeats on the Israeli army in direct combat.

The Shiite resistance leader called on the Lebanese government to abandon the policy of concessions to Israel, stating that the conditions for peace will be determined on the battlefield.
