Erdogan Accuses Israel of Obstructing Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that Israel is attempting to prevent humanitarian aid and the reconstruction process for the residents of Gaza.

According to TASS, during a meeting of the Permanent Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Istanbul, Erdogan mentioned that the Israeli administration has killed more than 200 innocent people under various justifications following the ceasefire agreement, continuing its occupation operations. He noted that these attacks are directed against peace, but they will not hinder the search for a just and long-term solution to the Palestinian issue.

Erdogan emphasized the need to increase humanitarian assistance to the residents of Gaza and to initiate reconstruction efforts, while asserting that the Israeli government is doing everything to prevent this. He also expressed gratitude to former U.S. President Donald Trump for his proactive stance in establishing the ceasefire.

Furthermore, Erdogan remarked that Arab and Muslim countries will not allow either the annexation of the West Bank or the alteration of the status of Jerusalem.
