Armenian Delegation to Visit Azerbaijan, Grigoryan

Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, stated in Brussels that since August 8, Armenia and Azerbaijan have been taking joint steps to deepen dialogue and strengthen the progress made so far.

Grigoryan mentioned the visit of a delegation of representatives from Azerbaijani civil society to Armenia on October 21-22 for a bilateral roundtable discussion. He noted that soon Armenian civil society representatives will also visit Azerbaijan. Prior to this, the head of Armenia's National Security Service attended an international security forum held in Baku.

Grigoryan emphasized that such visits and interactions will contribute to building trust between the societies of the two countries and advancing the peace process. It is worth mentioning that last month a bilateral roundtable was held in Yerevan with the participation of representatives from Armenian and Azerbaijani civil society. The purpose of the meeting was to promote the peace agenda based on the provisions of the joint declaration adopted in Washington on August 8, 2025.

Participants on the Azerbaijani side included Farhad Mamedov, Rusif Huseynov, Ramil Isganderli, and Kamala Mamedova, while the Armenian representatives were Areg Kochinyan, Boris Navasardyan, Naira Sultanian, Narek Minasian, and Samvel Meliksetyan.
