Putin Keeps a Piece of Leopard Tank Shot Down in Ukraine War in His Library
Russian President Vladimir Putin keeps a piece of a German Leopard tank, shot down by Russian soldiers during the Ukrainian war, in his personal library, reports Коммерсантъ. This was revealed by VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin in his report.
On the piece of metal, it is inscribed: "A fragment of a fascist tank for the Supreme Commander-in-Chief – from the personnel of the 58th Army." The exhibit, dated 2023, is noted to have arrived from the Zaporizhia region.
The report states that the library of the Russian president, located in the first building of the Kremlin, also holds thousands of books, chevrons, and other gifts from soldiers. Notably, it includes the flag of the 155th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet, which Vladimir Putin took during a direct connection event last year.
