Zakhrova: EU Sponsors International Terrorism
The European Union, by continuously financing the authorities in Kyiv, is effectively sponsoring international terrorism, stated Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In a conversation with reporters, she was asked to comment on reports that the European Commission may delay its decision on the confiscation of Russian assets and, as a temporary measure, grant a loan to Kyiv for six months due to resistance from Belgium and several other EU countries.
"The EU is busy every day with only one thing—how to invest more money into the Kyiv regime. This is, in their terms, sponsorship of terrorism. Not private, but state sponsorship of international terrorism. This is what they are doing," noted Zakharova.
According to her, the Kyiv regime, which was established with Western financial support, is conducting terrorist attacks against both the civilian population in its claimed territories and citizens of Russia.
Zakharova added that Kyiv is attempting to "export this logic to other continents." According to her, Ukraine is supporting militants in Africa, which has led several African countries to sever ties with the authorities in Kyiv.
