We Are Determined in This Stance: Iranian Foreign Minister
The recent resolution by the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which criticizes Tehran, will negatively impact the upcoming sixth round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States scheduled to take place in Muscat. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made this statement.
"These negotiations will occur under the shadow of the recently approved IAEA resolution, which complicates dialogue. However, we are determined to defend Iran's rights and its achievements in the nuclear sector," said Araghchi.
It is notable that earlier, the IAEA Board of Governors approved a resolution stating that Iran is not fully complying with its nuclear obligations. In response to this, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared that the Iranian government will not abandon its uranium enrichment program, while the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Mohammad Eslami, announced the launch of a new uranium enrichment facility in a safe location.
