Iran to Affirm Continuation of Uranium Enrichment Program

The Iranian authorities intend to continue uranium enrichment activities, emphasizing that these are carried out solely for peaceful energy purposes. This was reported by Al Jazeera, citing the country's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

Araghchi highlighted that Iran does not see the need to engage in any negotiations regarding its missile program. According to him, the country's defense capabilities cannot become a subject of external pressure or political agreements.

The minister added that Iran will continue to cooperate with international organizations to ensure transparency in its nuclear activities, but will not renounce its "legal rights."
