New Program for Yerevan's Traffic Congestion

In order to address the issue of traffic congestion in Yerevan, the first meeting of the crisis management commission for traffic improvement has taken place. The working group includes representatives from the Yerevan City Hall and various bodies of the Armenian executive power.

The meeting was convened at the directive of the Prime Minister, aiming to develop practical steps to reduce the city's traffic load. Discussions focused on issues relating to the increase in automobile transportation, the reduction of congestion, and the improvement of traffic management.

The commission will emphasize the development of public transport, the limitation of personal vehicle use, and the implementation of new technological solutions to ensure sustainable and efficient traffic flow in Yerevan.
