David Hambardzumyan's Statement from the Nubarashen Penitentiary

The Mayor of Masis, David Hambardzumyan, has addressed the residents of the enlarged community from the Nubarashen penitentiary. In his message, Hambardzumyan stated that he is currently in detention due to ‘political persecution.’ He expressed gratitude to the community members for their support and trust, emphasizing that his team has been working for the development of Masis for many years.

According to Hambardzumyan, political pressures in the country have also affected him, but this has not diminished their desire to build a more dignified homeland. He announced that he has decided to resign from his position as a member of the council but will continue as the community leader.

Hambardzumyan assured that he will keep the community’s issues under focus and support his team's work. “I am leaving the council, but I am not leaving Masis,” he stated, calling on the community members to continue working and to remain dignified.
