Classes Held on the Ground in Syrian Schools
In rural areas south of Idlib, which were once on the front lines of the Syrian civil war, residents are gradually returning to their homes after prolonged displacement. One of the main conditions for their return is the restoration of educational institutions. However, nearly a year after the fall of the former president, hundreds of schools remain damaged or looted.
Many children continue to be without education, while others attend partially destroyed buildings that lack basic supplies and conditions.
