U.S. Leadership Fears for Their Lives
The latest figures in the U.S., including Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth, have moved from their homes to protected military bases in Washington due to security concerns following the assassination of conservative stakeholder Charlie Kirk. This is reported by Atlantic.
Currently, at least six senior officials from the Trump administration are stationed at military facilities, all protected not only from potential violence but also from protests.
According to the publication, Rubio and Hegseth reside in the General's Quarters at Fort McNair, which is a military enclave on the banks of the Anacostia River.
