Gegarkunik Governor on Ongoing Search for 3-Year-Old Tigran: No Trace of the Child Found Yet
The search for three-year-old Tigran in the Gegarkunik region continues, but no new information has been received regarding the child's whereabouts. This was stated by the governor Karen Sargsyan in a conversation with reporters.
“The search operations are ongoing, and the pace has not slowed for a single moment,” Sargsyan noted, emphasizing that rescue and police units are continuing their searches in various directions.
The governor also addressed circulating rumors about the child's brother constantly touching his throat. According to him, this behavior could suggest that the child may be trying to communicate that he cannot speak, although this hypothesis has not yet been confirmed.
Sargsyan stated that no theories are being ruled out, and all possible options are being examined. He also announced that the governor's office will soon provide financial assistance to Tigran's family, which is considered socially disadvantaged.
As of now, the governor noted that there is no trace of the child.
