Changes in the Housing Support Program for Families Displaced from Artsakh
Changes are being implemented in the state support program for housing for families forcibly displaced from Artsakh. The government approved the project developed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs during today's meeting. This was reported by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
Accordingly, the requirement for mandatory inclusion in the beneficiary family unit will not apply to family members who have been declared missing based on a court ruling. This will allow other family members who meet the main conditions of the program to benefit from it. Family members of beneficiary families who were minors as of September 19, 2023, but turned 18 by the time the application was completed, will have the opportunity, if desired, to obtain a certificate as a separate family. In this case, the requirement for mandatory inclusion in the family unit will not apply to that individual.
The minimum number of documents to be submitted by families applying to the inter-agency commission will be set at 1 (instead of the current 2) if it concerns the period from December 12, 2022, until the displacement.
It should be noted that as of October 30, 2025, 3,240 families displaced from Artsakh have received certificates under the housing support program, of which 1,210 have been realized.
