Baku Still Awaiting Response from Armenia on Proposal to Start State Border Demarcation Process: Bayramov

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, has stated that Baku has yet to receive a response from Armenia regarding the proposal to start the process of demarcating the state border and signing a peace treaty.

According to Minval.az, Bayramov made this announcement during a joint press conference with the Serbian Foreign Minister. “Azerbaijan has put forward a number of proposals. This also concerns resolving the issue of an open border with Armenia through starting discussions on demarcation. In addition, it also pertains to the proposal that has been mentioned multiple times by the President of Azerbaijan, which is Baku's readiness to sign a peace treaty with Armenia. Unfortunately, we have not yet received a response from Armenia regarding these proposals,” the Azerbaijani minister was quoted as saying by the source.
